It's like a kick in the nuts!

A special episode of the comedy podcast "Wha-Chow!" was just recorded this past Sunday and it's now officially up for download!

Take a listen!

Featured in the episode is myself acting as the host, the three co-writers: Bryon "Psyguy" Beaubien (voice of Renaldo), Jacob "Niro Rose" Sanders (voice of Mace) and Chris "CZ-Backlash" Zito (voice of Meat) as well as cast members Cailen "Crow" Denton (voice of Morty), Mike "SkeletonJAZZ" Luckas (voice of Bulk) and Joshua "Tomamoto" Tomar (voice of Evan Splooge), plus Cory "Sprite37" Holmes who was a big help on the technical side the night Part 3 was submitted. All of us look back and talk about our involvement and favorite moments throughout the series and the Movie, I answer some questions from the fans and we play a very special goodbye message from all of the Parody Rangers characters. Enjoy!

Part 3

Go! Go! Parody Rangers: THE MOVIE - Part 3 "Race Against Slime"
[Runtime: - 17 Minutes]

After a sexilicous night of rest and preparation, the Rangers finally set out into the darkest, most dangerous depths of the Planet Buut2dahed in order to gain a powerful new power of powerness. They arrive back in Angel Grove with a whole railroad's worth of power and the sinister Evan Splooge's "Orgasmotrons" are already wreaking havoc across the city! But when the violet villain takes matters into his own little munchy-thing hands, they alone can't stop his might! It will take every able set of hands to put an end to this insanity! The Parody Ranger Legend concludes today!

This film is NOT for kids and contains plenty of innapropriate (not to mention, immature) humor. If this sort of thing isn't up your alley or if you are offended by such content in any way, please feel free to give it a pass. Otherwise, to the fans who've followed along with Parody Rangers previously, I hope you enjoy it for what it is and have some fun!

Thanks everyone for sticking with the Parody Rangers series for the past several years and hope you gotta laugh or two along the way. Enjoy the big finale!

"SO glad you asked..." + "What the bloody hell do you want from me?"

Evan Splooge & Dulcy Sia - Now for these two, who were designed specifically for this movie...with much more significance than Morty. Dulcy, based on "Dulcea" was meant to be what Pinky sort of pointed out, that being a complete and total sex object...or at least in the eyes of the characters surrounding her. Evan, who contains much more significance of course, I've now drawn COUNTLESS times in the midst of the movie. I had to make sure he was really entertaining since he was going to be one of the movie's main attractions. I owe a lot to Josh Tomar, his VA, for fulfilling that for me. Evan was tricky, but fun to animate the more I got the hang of it.

Both of these characters were challenges for me in their own way. Both of their designs were a bit more complicated in different aspects, especially compared to the Rangers. Adapting Dulcea and Ivan Ooze into Parody Rangers equivalents, or in Evan's case, making him a direct descendant of his original counterparts, was one of the most exciting parts of the movie's pre-production for me. Having them both eventually be brought to life was long and arduous, but totally worth it.

"Hey, F.U., F.U., I'll be F'n you later, F.U....and I don't even know you." + "...why are you talking to yourself?"

Crisis averted! Gotta new tablet pen and JUST finished up Scene 7, so I've got only one left and there's about a minute's worth of animation left to complete. Then this baby's all done.

Almost done with the Character histories, here's two of our classic villain-types.

Lord Zett & Nekoneko NyaNya - As much as I love Renaldo and Flyguy, these two I seem to have a lot of sentimental value towards. Those who've seen the other flash movies I've done before Parody Rangers (...and if you have, I am SO sorry) will know that Zett and Nekoneko are both based on a duo of characters directly from the series prior to working on Rangers 1. I tweaked their personalities and voices to fit the "style" of humor in Parody Rangers, designed them in the fashion of the villains of Mighty Morphin' and stuck 'em in there hoping people would get a kick out of it.

Lord Zett, to sum it up, is basically me when I get really, REALLY angry while playing video games. Seriously, it's kinda freaky. Those moments he has, especially in "Green Day" are pretty accurate to how I am when I die during gameplay. Zett's a fun character to play, without a doubt, but he's a bit of a bitch to draw a million times. I also conceptualized him being "the son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd" LONG before the character "Thrax" was created as far as I know, but I'm not bitter. There's a joke in the feature movie pertaining to that.

Nekoneko is actually NOT based on Rita but rather the long lost Scorpina, who they kind of decided to take out of the series by the time Lord Zedd showed up. Combining the original character with the same type of armor that Scorpina had I made a cat-version that became Nekoneko the stone-cold ice queen. Since I made Zett such an angry character, I thought Nekoneko made a good comic foil to him despite her lack of personality. That and making them very abusive significant others ended up being one of my favorite gags to use.

...aaaand tragedy strikes.

My tablet pen is gone. I can't get it replaced because my laptop's warranty is only for broken products, not lost ones. Right now I'm incapable of drawing on my computer and therefore can't work on the Movie right now. I'm SO close to finishing, maybe only about a minute and a half worth of animation left to do and then this thing is all done. I can work on a few other alternate things, but otherwise I'm kinda screwed right now. I'm trying to work something out, but otherwise I'm gonna say the Movie will be delayed until I know for sure what's happening.

Morty Yttaf - Morty's prettymuch self-explained entirely through his precense in the movie. I thought the entire concept of "Mordant", the character he's based on, being in the original Movie was completely ridiculous and uneccasary, hence Morty's role in the cartoon. You'll see that I try to play up on his unexplained appearance alongside the villains through his "relation" to Goldar, or in this case Flyguy. For some reason somebody thought it was a good idea to remove the line explaining WHY he's even there in the first place, let alone the fact that having him in the movie at all was a good idea.

His voice, performed by Cailen Denton (who previously played The Green Ranger, Vector the Crocodile and Escargoon in the trilogy of Rangers cartoons) was a combination of his weaselly voice used on 1019 for Nack and his NYer Raphael voice used in TMNT Bastardized. I actually like his performance as one of the best in the movie, which I didn't expect considering the character.

Looking back, to be honest, I think it would've been more amusing to have Morty be the original "beta" concept for Mordant...which was supposedly a fuzzy little creature thing that could attach itself to Goldar's leg or something like that. Either that, or removing him from the movie in general, but by this time it was too late and enough decently-funny jokes were written around the character, so.

The Climax!

The Rangers have banded together and the Megazord is good to go...

The final battle will involve everyone, heroes and villains alike!

...perhaps even more than that!

The Rangers stand strong against their greatest enemy.

Will victory await them or a Sploogy demise!?

Gweedoh Renaldo & Flyguy McGolden - These two ended up being some of the most popular among the Parody Rangers cast. Renaldo is based loosely on Finster, the monster-maker of Rita Repulsa, along with some traits of his VA, Bryon "Psyguy" Beaubien. Flyguy is much more directly based on Goldar, Rita's top hench...thing; in fact his name is based on his "beta-name" used during the Mighty Morphin' pilot episode, where he (and another monster) are both confusingly reffered to as Flyguy.

Renaldo, to this day, is one of the only things I can still actually LAUGH at when I watch the Rangers movies, otherwise I tend to find them a bit stale in comedy for the vast majority of the time. His voice was based on a random joke Psy made about Gargamell from The Smurfs cartoon and while recording him he couldn't help but do Renaldo's now famous "Hm-Hmm!!" noise before each line and it eventually stuck. Everyone seems to like him best among the villains and for good reason.

For Flyguy I originally was going to find someone else simply so I could add more people into the cast, but eventually felt it'd be better if I stuck with Egoraptor's already hysterical Goldar impression for the character, adding another to Ego's large number of voices he does for the series. By the end of the trilogy Renaldo and Flyguy end up being sort of a "duo" with their various gags off of each other.

Special Download: Three Parody Rangers Songs!

Click here to download the Zip folder with these three songs!

"Mojiri Sentai: Parodyranger!" - This was the ending credits theme to PART 2 of the Feature Movie. Performed by myself, with some mish-moshin' by Chris Zito (the voice of Meat), it's a spoof of the original opening theme song from Kyoryu Sentai: Zyuranger (the Japanese show of which Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers originates from). The song is all about Parody Rangers itself and what these ridiculous cartoons are all about. This was released briefly on Newgrounds, but now it's here just for you!

"Give me the Splooge to carry on" - When the Movie was thought at one point to be split into four parts, this WOULD have been the ending credits theme to PART 3 of the Movie, but since PART 3 has been condensed enough to be the finale of the entire Feature, this song had no room to be used. However, it's incredibly funny and performed by Josh Tomar, in character as Evan Splooge. The song is from the english version of Sailor Moon, an insert song about the final battle against the bad guys. Josh was performing this on his way home to record Evan Splooge with me and was rehearsing and prepping the character voice by singing...so just for fun, he recorded this!

"Power Rangers Epic Mix" - Created by Chris O'Neill, another cartoonist from Newgrounds, this is an instrumental version of the Power Rangers theme he also submitted to the Audio Portal if you'd like to download it from there. I wanted to find a place to use it in the Movie, but sadly there was no room. Thankfully though, there was a perfect place to use it in the Supah Crazy-Ass Renaldo Rangers!

The final battle has begun!

Here's a few shots of the newest scenes!

Back at the Command Center, it looks like something's gone terribly sour...

...but our heroes have no time to mourn.

Now is the time for ACTION!

Evan Splooge and his lackies watch as Angel Grove City is plunged into chaos by the Orgasmotrons!

He's in for a bit of a shocker though, when his greatest threat shows up to foil his plans!

...the purple snot-rocket might have a trick up his grimy sleeve.

Kay-Me-Ohz! the Second...

Completely forgot to do these forever ago! Here's a few of the notable cameos that appeared throughout PART 2 of the Parody Rangers Feature.

Noah Scammon - The real Faceman himself! I met Noah at New York Comiccon a few years back and hung out with him and Josh Tomar (voice of Evan Splooge) for a fun ol' weekend and became familiar with his live-action character, Faceman! He was so funny, I couldn't help but try to work an animated version of him into the Movie. Willy's "day job" scene was up in the air, but Faceman's talkshow worked perfectly for it!

Mike Pollock - The voice of Dr. Eggman and many other Saturday morning characters, who was very cool to return as "Eyengel" the big floating eyeball with wings, a halo and a bazooka. I wrote what I thought was a memorable mini-monologue for the little Monster-of-the-week to give to Renaldo and company as advice.

Xero Reynolds - Xero previously played Lemalonei in Go! Go! Parody Rangers: IN SPACE, who sadly died due to being squished onto Lord Zet's floating base. But, the Evan's Splooge commercial lent itself to another opportune cameo moment, so I created a little charicature of Xero himself to be thrown in there. "I'll buy some!"

Special Limited Time Offer! Free Sneak Preview of PART 3!

Movie completion percentage is currently: 37%

So with Part 3 of the Parody Rangers Feature Movie about a third of the way done, I decided to have a special offer for all of the patient watchers who've been waiting for this psychotic project to be finished and released already. Thanks to Fiverr.com I'll be starting a cool little commission deal! For a measly five bucks, I will draw you one character of your choice, which can be your own character, someone else's character, maybe even a pre-existing character if you want, in the simplified Parody Rangers-style.

I often do this on my commissions page on 1111 DeviantArt, which is also open of course, but the special deal on Fiverr.com comes with a little bonus! If you order a five dollar commission from me on Fiverr and include your e-mail address, I will personally send you a preview of Part 3's animation! The first 6 Minutes and 37 Seconds (Yes, 37, I didn't plan on that, I swear.) are complete, so you'll be way ahead of the other Parody Rangers followers and will get to see a whole bunch of surprising new material for the last half of the Movie way ahead of time! This will only last for the month of June though, so get 'em while they're hot!

The final film will hopefully still be released in July if I can continue to get it done on schedule. I do have a couple conventions to hit up, but so far I've managed to complete one scene per week. Let's hope I can still pull it off and finally put a cap on this thang.

Obtainment of the fresh new Zords.

Glad to say I'm already keeping myself on schedule to doing one scene per week, so Scene 2's all finished. Here's a few screencaps yet again:

The Rangers make their way towards the Monolith in true Naruto style...by jumping through endless backgrounds of trees. Always works!

But dangers lurk within Planet Buut2dahed's deadly forests, the greatest of which awaits them at the site of the Monolith!

The Rangers are a bit shaken up...

But their fearless leader's ready to go!

...and their new Zords await them at the end of their quest! With their giant merchandise-worthy vehicles now obtained, it's time to head back to Earth for the final showdown!

"Alpha, shit's goin' down." + "Aye-yai-yai-yai-YAI!!"

Zordon of Eltar & Alpha 5 - Okay so for obvious reasons I'm only gonna briefly touch on these guys. Similiar to my lack of care towards Flyguy, it's hard to get attached to these two, because they're literally NOT characters of my creation. The Rangers are throwbacks to the original five Mighty Morphin' team, but for the most part they're characters I put my own artistic ability into. Not to say I didn't try to do anything funny with my "versions" Zordon or Alpha, but there's a lack of enthusiasm on my part.

Their characters are essentially set, but were magnified, also similiar to Flyguy, by Egoraptor's take on their voices. Zordon's whole deal, especially at the very beginning with Parody Rangers 1, was based on the "Zordon's Dilemma" clip that Arin recorded years ago. I heard his Alpha impression at some point as well and by the time the inspiration had set in from his clips, it was a perfect chance to animate his characterizations of the two. They end up having kind of an abusive relationship as seen throughout the series, which is damn impressive considering it was Ego literally going back and forth talking to himself between all three voices seamlessly.

So with their characters basically already existant, for the Movie I wanted to utilize them for a different purpose throughout the long and arduous animation process. With Zordon I focused mainly on using interesting facial features and expressions, due to his lack of a body (or particular body, as you'll see in PART 2) and how I had drawn him slightly more intricately for the Movie, I had fun coming up with crazy drawings for his rants and..."gasps". Meanwhile with Alpha, he became much funner to animate than in the series, as I've realized the way I illustrate him in flash is a bunch of McDonalds food. His arms and lower body look like fries, his dome-head looks like a burger, his little arm-claw thingies look like onion rings or something...or possibly the two golden arches along with his torso that makes up the Happy Meal bag. Good lord.

Towards the phallic symbol.

We're back! Sorry for the long delay. Part 3 of the Parody Rangers Feature, the grand finale, is in the works at long last. One of eight scenes has been finished thus far and I expect to have the full thing done in early to mid-July. Here's a few screencaps for ya.

Splooge, still accompanied by Renaldo, Flyguy and Morty as his lackies, at the Orgasmotron construction site.

Can the Juniors do anything to save their parents being forced to work manual labor!?

Meanwhile our heroes ponder over the shape of the monolith where the Powerful Power of Powerfulness lies.

...while Zet and Nekoneko have an awkward afterglow.

...and Alpha gets Cable! What's on the News?
